Back to School Open House
Classroom assignments are still be worked out. However, we plan to have them by the Back to School Open House. This way, your student can visit with their new teacher. Communications regarding teacher assignments will be sent out mid-August.
You are invited to Slade’s Back to School Open House on Friday, August 23, from 11:45 am – 12:45 pm. Families and students are invited to meet teachers. Teachers will be in their classrooms to answer questions and help prepare for the first day of school. Families can also drop off their school supplies (except for Kindergarten, please wait until the second week of school). We hope you can join us!
Preregister Your New Slade Student
Needing to preregister your student to go to Slade? You've come to the right spot. If your child lives in Slade's boundary area, start the process by clicking here and filling out the form. Then come by the office between 7:30 am and 3:30 pm with a copy of your child’s state certified birth certificate and a current immunization record. We also have a computer in the main office if you need assistance with the preregistration.
If you do not live in the Slade boundary, please contact the main office (307-721-4446) for additional steps.

Kindergarten Kick Start
Kick Start will take place at Slade during the first week of school (Aug 26-Aug 30, 2024) 8:00-3:00. During the first week, the students will meet with all of the kindergarten teachers. Class assignments will be determined by that Friday. You must be registered for Kindergarten at Slade Elementary for the 2024-2025 school year to be eligible to attend this program. Please send your kindergartner's school supplies with them after classroom assignments have been made.
