Back to School Open House
You are invited to Slade’s Back to School Open House on Friday, August 23, from 11:45 am – 12:45 pm. Families and students are invited to meet teachers. Teachers will be in their classrooms to answer questions and help prepare for the first day of school. Families can also drop off their school supplies (except for Kindergarten, please wait until the second week of school). We hope you can join us!
Summer School
Dear Summer School Families,
Thank you for enrolling your child and completing the Google Form & joining the Remind messaging service (join HERE).
Our dates for summer school this year will be June 10th through June 27th. Drop off time for you student is 7:45 and pick up will be at 12pm. Please use the Remind message app on days your student will be late or absent. Lunch is provided and transportation, if needed, for students.
We already have one change, our Family Night at Slade will now be on Wednesday the 29th starting at 5:30 and encourage all to attend to get necessary information.

Preregister Your Kindergartner - due April 12th
Needing to preregister your kindergartner for kindergarten? You've come to the right spot. If your child will be five years old by August 1, 2024 and your student lives in Slade's boundary area, start the process by clicking here and filling out the form. Then come by the office between 7:30 am and 3:30 pm with a copy of your child’s state certified birth certificate and a current immunization record. We also have a computer in the main office if you need assistance with the preregistration. All kindergarten registrations need to be done by April 12, 2024. We can’t wait to meet you!
Kindergarten Kick Start
Kick Start will take place at Slade during the first week of school (Aug 26-Aug 30, 2024) 8:00-3:00. During the first week, the students will meet with all of the kindergarten teachers. Class assignments will be determined by that Friday. You must be registered for Kindergarten at Slade Elementary for the 2024-2025 school year to be eligible to attend this program. Please send your kindergartner's school supplies with them after classroom assignments have been made.
